Commissioner Secretary PDD Meets Governor Satya Pal Malik

Srinagar:  Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Sh. Kumar briefed Governor about the position of energy access and availability and the demand and supply position of Power in the State, to-date status of various schemes and programmes in power sector like schemes of Saubhagya, UJALA, PMDP, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana.

Governor directed that all works pertaining to electrification of the un-electrified households should be prioritized and emphasised that the work should be expedited on all the projects covered under Centrally Sponsored Schemes for their timely completion. (GNS)
