Three persons of a family died and nine others were injured when two cars collided in Khutar area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior officer said here on Monday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) S Anand said the incident took place late on Sunday night when Bhagwan Das, a resident of Pallia in Pilibhit district was returning home with his family. “Near the jungle of Laugapur their car collided with another car coming from the opposite direction,” he said.
He said Bhagwan Das (65), Dharmendra (45) and Lakshya (3) were killed on the spot in the collision. “Nine persons who sustained serious injuries were admitted to the hospital by the police. The bodies have been sent for post mortem,” he said.
