A 37-year-old man was arrested by the police on charges of sexually exploiting his minor daughter in Shahganj area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police said here.
Incharge of Shahganj police station Sanjay Pal said that Suresh Kol was arrested for sexually exploiting his 16-year-old daughter. “The victim along with her mother came to the police station two days back and filed a complaint against her father,” he said.
He said that the accused has been arrested under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Pocso Act.
