UP: Three killed as unidentified vehicle hit bike

Three people, including two brothers, were killed when a motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle in the City Kotwali area of Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said.


Police sources said that the incident took place on Ayodhya-Gonda Road, where the motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle.


“Chhedilal, alias Ashok Kumar, his brother Raghvendra, and Subedar were injured in the incident. The injured were taken to the district hospital, where Chhedilal and his brother Raghvendra were declared dead,” they said.


Police sources said that Subedar, who sustained serious injuries, died during treatment.
“The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination. The family members of the deceased have been informed, and efforts are being made to trace the vehicle involved in the accident,” they said.
