World leaders, Political rivals and allies greet PM Modi on 75th Birthday; US President Donald Trump first to wish

 US President Donald Trump was the first among global and Indian leaders to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, sending his message minutes before midnight on Tuesday. Addressing him simply as “Narendra,” Trump’s greeting was seen as a friendly gesture and a boost to India-US ties that have faced turbulence in recent times.

Soon after, wishes poured in from across the political spectrum, with dignitaries, allies, and even rivals acknowledging Modi’s leadership and extending prayers for his long life and health.

President Droupadi Murmu lauded Modi’s “extraordinary leadership” and wrote on X:

“Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodi ji. By exemplifying the pinnacle of hard work through your extraordinary leadership, you have instilled a culture of achieving great goals in the country. Today, the global community is also expressing its faith in your guidance. I pray to God that you remain forever healthy and joyful, and with your unique leadership, lead the nation to new heights of progress.”

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan hailed the Prime Minister’s vision:

“Heartiest birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under your visionary leadership, India is making a mark on the global stage and moving steadily towards the goal of a developed nation. Wishing you a long, healthy, and fulfilling life dedicated to the service of the motherland.”

PM Modi responded on X, thanking him:

“Thank you for your gracious greetings, Vice President Thiru CP Radhakrishnan Ji. Your wishes further strengthen the resolve to serve the nation with dedication.”

Among allies, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu called Modi “the right leader at the right time”:

“Warmest birthday greetings to our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji. We are truly fortunate to have the right leader at the right time, guiding our nation with clarity and determination. His absolute commitment to the people and our nation’s prosperity, reflected in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and the bold reforms he has championed, has touched countless lives and brought meaningful change across the country.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah described him as an “inspiration for crores”:

“Symbol of sacrifice and dedication, inspiration for crores of countrymen, heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his 75th birthday. Modi ji, who has been working tirelessly, without stopping or tiring, for the welfare of the countrymen for more than five decades in social life, is a living inspiration of ‘Nation First’ for every citizen. #HappyBdayPMModi.”

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, and other cabinet colleagues also posted heartfelt greetings, highlighting Modi’s long years of public service and his vision of a self-reliant India.

From the opposition, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi extended their wishes.

Kharge posted:”Best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and a long life.”

Rahul Gandhi added:”Wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday and good health.”

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta saluted Modi’s contribution, saying:

“Heartfelt birthday wishes to the trailblazer of a developed India, our esteemed Prime Minister, the honourable Shri @narendramodi ji… Under your guidance, we can all together realise the dream of Viksit Bharat 2047.”

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also joined in. Sarma posted:“Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the world’s most popular Prime Minister, the true son of Mother India, the flag-bearer of Indian culture, our esteemed Shri @narendramodi ji… On behalf of the Modi family members of Assam, we pray to Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Shankaradev for your excellent health and long life.”

To mark the milestone, the BJP launched a two-week-long “Sewa Pakhwada”, running till October 2, with nationwide activities including health camps, cleanliness drives, cultural events, and fairs to promote local products.(KINS)
