Sehrai also asked government to accept the demands of protesters and return the dead bodies to them.

The family members of the Mudasir and Nissar are claiming that their sons were recently killed by the security forces in encounter in Kupwara and have not returned their dead bodies. The police however, is yet to verify the claims prompting families to protest.

The two militants killed by security forces few days ago are buried at unknown places by the government forces.

The other separatists who participated in the protests include Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, Mohd Ashraf Laya and Umer Aadil Dar.

Meanwhile, the Tehreek Huriyat Chief criticized the government for transferring Tehreek Huriyat leader Ameer Hamzah Shah from Bandipora Police Station to Kupwara district jail.

“Our state behaves like a police state and in that case policies work purely on mercilessness. So how is it possible to hope for justice from this police state which has no human feelings, rather it behaves like a wild animal,” Sehrai said.
