Srinagar: Dilbagh Singh who took over charge of DGP J&K today, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at Raj Bhavan.
Sh. Singh briefed Governor about the present internal security situation and many important matters relating to law and order challenges before the J&K Police.
Governor discussed with him various issues relating to the welfare of police personnel and their families particularly the housing needs of the police. He wished him a successful tenure and urged him to keep public interest foremost in discharge of his duty. (GNS)
