Govt Warns Not Complying With Transfer Orders

Date:

Srinagar: The government has warned those officers who are not complying with orders of transfer and has asked them to join new posting by September 10 to avoid action under rules.

“It has been brought to the notice of the Government that certain officers transferred in the recent past have not joined their new places of postings and are continuing at their previous places of postings without any authorization. The matter has been viewed seriously,” reads a government order issued here.

“It is enjoined upon the officers concerned who have been transferred under different Government Orders in the recent past but have not joined their new places of postings, to do so without any further delay by 10.09.2018, failing which action, as warranted under rules, will follow,” the order added.
