Jammu Firing: Jawan injured in suspected terrorist attack succumbed

An army jawan injured in a suspected terrorist attack on Monday at Sunjuwan Military Station succumbed during treatment at a hospital here.

“One soldier suffered critical injuries in the firing and was evacuated to the hospital but he succumbed to the injuries,” sources said.

Army sources said that at about 10:50 AM few rounds were fired at Sunjawan Military Station, and one soldier was critically injured.

They said that the operation is underway and further details are being ascertained.
