J&K: Police attaches properties of 7 Pak-based handlers in Baramulla

Police on Wednesday attached properties of seven Pakistani-based handlers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Eight Kanals, six Marlas and two Sersai land worth lakhs belonging to seven terror handlers of various villages of Uri, who are now based in Pakistan, were attached after obtaining order from Additional Sessions Court Baramulla, the police said.

The properties attached included that of Sajad Ahmad Bhat of Bardan, Irshad Ahmad Khan of Pringal, Gulla Mochi of Limber, Mohammad Aslam Khan of Pringal, Mohammad Beigh of Ijara, Khalid Mir of Hiller Peerniyan and Rafiq Ahmad Bakerwal of Limber, the police statement said.

The action was taken under sections of 88 CrPC and are linked with a case registered in 2008 in Police Station Boniyar under section u/s 2/3 EIMCO Act, 120 B, 121, 124 RPC, 19 UA (P) Act.
