J&K Police attaches property of notorious drug peddler in Awantipora

Police have attached a residential house of a notorious drug peddler under the Narcotic drug and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in sub district Awantipora of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.


Police on Tuesday said continuing its operation against drug peddlers Awantipora Police on Tuesday attached single storied concrete residential House valuing approximately RS 30 lakhs belonging to notorious drug peddler Manzoor Ahmad Bhat a resident of Larkipora Padgampora Awantipora, under section 68-of NDPS Act 1985.


“The residential house was identified as illegally acquired properties during the course of enquiry conducted by Police from illicit trafficking in Narcotic drug and Psychotropic Substances by the said drug peddler”, police said.


The drug peddler is involved in Case FIR Nos 1 212/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act of Police Station Awantipora, they said.
