The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti expressed shock over the continues trolling of external Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on twitter. Mehbooba Mufti said that she was horrified to see “vicious” trolling of Swaraj on social media. She described it an “outrageous”.
“Horrified by the vicious trolling @SushmaSwaraj ji has been subjected to. Absolutely outrageous!” Mehbooba wrote on Twitter.
The PDP president said if even the minister was not spared from trolls, what hope was there for any other women in the country.
“If our own Minister of External Affairs is not spared, what hope is there for any other woman?” She questioned.
Swaraj was trolled after she was accused of appeasing Muslims after an official of Passport Seva Kendra in Lucknow was transferred. An official Vikas Mishra was transferred in Lucknow after the interfaith couple alleged that he humiliated them when they went to the office with their passport applications recently.
