The security forces in Hajin area of Bandipora district in north Kashmir launched a massive search operation after militants appeared form the local mosque on Monday evening after Isha prayers.
Reports said that few militants offered the prayers at the mosque prompting security forces to launch the operation to nab them.
The militants, however, later disappeared and went into hiding while the operation is still going on to nab them. The internet as also been suspended in the area.
However, the situation triggered panic when militants alerted some people asking them that forces may arrest some youth.
