Won’t Contest LS Polls, Says Shah Faesal

Srinagar: The record maker IAS topper, Dr. Shah Faesal who joined politics recently on Saturday announced that his party will stay away from the parliamentary elections, commencing from April 11.
Dr. Shah Faesal, who recently launched his own political outfit, namely Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) addressed media persons today and said that his party won’t contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Dr. Faesal said that they will strengthen the party first before contesting the elections. “We are not here to spill any political party, if that could have been the case then party would have contested the upcoming elections,” he added.
He also condemned the custodial death of a private school teacher from Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and ban on Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) led by Muhammad Yasin Malik. (KNS)
