Engineer Rashid Likely To Support NC Candidate In A Bid To Clip BJP’s Wings

SRINAGAR: Independent legislator from North Kashmir’s Langate are Er Rasheed is all set to support Omar Abdullah’s party National conference in coming Parliamentary elections in the state slated for next month.
Sources confirmed News agency Press Trust of Kashmir that Omar Abdullah and Er Rasheed met yesterday in Srinagar and discussed the modus operandi needed for fighting the polls jointly.
Sources divulged that Er Rasheed has decided to support National Conference from Kupwara district.
Akbar Lone is NC’s Lok Sabha candidate for Baramulla constituency and sources said Er Rasheed is willing to extend support to the NC for coming election, “in a bid to stop not BJP’s growth in Kashmir.”
Pertinent to mention here that in 2014 Lok Sabha election Er Rasheed got 22090 votes from Kupwara.(PTK)
