Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah on Wednesday said that the outfit doesn’t attack unarmed and common people.
“We abide by the principles of Islamic teachings. It is the Indian intelligence forces who attack the pilgrims so as to malign the freedom fighters,” LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying.
The Lashkar chief also thanked the people for massively participating in the funeral prayer of ‘Abu Bakr’ Abdul Shakoor Dar.
“The people’s love, support and prayers are our true strength,” Mehmood Shah said. (GNS)
