Malik Condemns Govt Forces’ ‘Onslaught’ On People

Date:

Srinagar: “Unabated killings, spree of arrests, burning, blasting, vandalizing residential houses, beating and humiliating men, women and children are glaring examples of new age Hitlerism in the garb of democracy,” said the chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik on Friday.

He also condemned the “ongoing onslaught of Indian forces against Kashmiris”.

Malik in a statement issued to GNS said forces and authorities under the Operation All Out plan have expedited “genocide” of Kashmiris, and on daily basis, Kashmiri youth are falling to the bullets and bombs.

JKLF chairman said that besides ongoing killings, arrests and slapping of PSA upon youth and shifting them to jails far away from their homes, NIA is being used to intimidate, punish and bully people in political resistance.

“Indian rulers and their local collaborators are using iron fist measures to suppress the genuine aspirations and resistance of the people of Jammu Kashmir but they should know that oppressive measures have and can never succeed in suppressing our sacred movement for freedom,” Malik said.

Meanwhile, according to statement, JKLF leaders and activists today staged a peaceful protest at Lal Chowk against “unabated Indian aggression” in Kashmir. (GNS)
