PDP Claims Stake With 56 Members To Form Govt In JK Mehbooba Says Guv Out Of Reach To Receive Fax Or Call

Srinagar: With the news of formation of grand alliance spreading across the lengths and breadths of the state, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),a single largest party with 28 MLAs here has claimed stake to form the new dispensation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reliable sources told KNO that PDP has sent  a fax to Governor Satya Pal Malik, claiming to form the government.

The party in a fax to the Governor has claimed that it has a support of 56 MLAs, saying that the two parties besides it PDP including NC and Congress having 15 and 12 MLAs respectively have decided to extend support to their party.

However, the former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti in a tweet confirmed to have sent a fax to the Governor, but informed that the fax is not received.

She said that she also tried to contact Governor MAlik pon phone but that too is not available. “Have been trying to send this letter to Rajbhavaan, Strangely the fax is not received. tried to contact HE Governor on phone. Not available. Hope you see it,” Mehbooba tweeted. (KNO)
