Delhi Police files cancellation report of POSCO against Brij Bhushan

Delhi Police after investigation on Thursday filed a Cancellation report against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh under the provisions

of Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) at Patiala House Court.

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Thakur last week requested to protesting wrestlers to withdraw all forms of protest and assured that the Police has been requested to

file the chargesheet by June 15.

Police has submitted a report before the court after completion of investigation and requested for cancellation of the POSCO case against Singh based upon the statements of the victim and her father.

Delhi Police included the statement of the minor and details of the investigation and when no corroborative evidence found filed the Cancellation Report now further matter will be heard on

July, 4 on the basis of report.
